Luc Mayitoukou

Luc Mayitoukou was born in Congo and lives in Senegal. He is the president of Art Moves Africa and the director of the arts agency Zhu Culture with a presence in 15 African countries is on the forefront of cultural entrepreneurship in Africa working in the fields like festival organization, editing, artistic career management and training and he has a huge knowledge of the music industry both in Africa and Europe. He was also a member of the Unesco Experts Group for the 2005 Convention.

Luc is also a very experienced bass player having worked with musicians like Baba Maal and Yousou N’Dour. He is designing the modules for the music business and career planning / marketing modules for the curriculum and teaches the culture management module at the Organizational Development Workshop in Uganda.
