Emmanuel Mujuru_South East African Global Music Campus

The Mbira player Emmanuel Mujuru is the Musical Director of Music Crossroads Zimbabwe. He designed the Mbira modules for the Academy in Zimbabwe where he also teaches Mbira, rhythmic reading and writing and choral studies and was one of the first trainees in the Campus program. He holds a BA in Ethnomusicology and is currently completing an honors degree in music at the Midland State University.

Emmanuel has many years of experience as a music educator in at secondary and tertiary levels having worked as a high school teacher and college lecturer. He is the nephew of the late Ephraim Mujuru, one of Zimbabwes greatest Mbira players.
